Meet Amanda

Don’t let anyone fool you into thinking some people just have that it factor.
Of course there are the Steve Martins, Amy Poehlers, Cynthias and Arianas of the world – always charming and entertaining in any situation.
But, most of the time, that unidentified quality in a great speaker, a phenomenal singer, or a captivating actor, is really just a reflection of one thing.
Rehearsal!
That moving, seamless speech or performance is usually the natural outcome of well used rehearsal time.
As a public speaking coach, one of the most frustrating things I see all over the internet is bad rehearsal advice. And, there’s plenty of it to go around!
I’m sure you’ve heard all sorts of poor and conflicting advice over the years.
Don’t rehearse at all – you don’t want to sound robotic!
Rehearse your talk every 15 minutes – don’t forget a word!
The conflicting information about rehearsal can make anyone’s head spin.

That’s why I make a point of talking about rehearsal with all of my clients. They might have the best researched talking points their field has ever seen. If they don’t rehearse, or if they rehearse in a way that is detrimental to their presentation, all that work goes to waste!
My clients can tell you that once the rehearsal process is demystified, preparing for talks and presentations suddenly feels so much lighter.
It’s amazing the difference that a simple rehearsal routine can make.
The weight of preparation anxiety will be replaced by the confidence of knowing that you totally got this.
So, all that time you used to spend thinking up twenty different disaster scenarios the night before your presentation? Over.
Rehearsing every word in your head all day every day for a week straight? Finito.
And, once anxiety is out of the way, your body will feel looser, your mind will feel lighter, and your schedule will free up.
After that, the only important question will be, how will you spend all that free time?
Personally, I always love a nice walk in a beautiful area. I’ve never met a beach or a botanical garden I didn’t like.
How about YOU? What will your free time go towards?
Let me know on our call, and book your first session so we can get you there as quickly as possible!
